I'm pleased that...
On Friday night, I got my avarii essay starting-point looking just the way I wanted it! I had thought it impossible for a time, to use table html to wrap a picture around the visible part of a table, but thanks to Annabella's html help I learned about 'colspan' and 'rowspan' and thanks to looking at Shanra's table layout, I learned width could be specified in pixels and not just percentages. Yay! Now Tranquil-Pool stands holding a board with links to the various portions of the (unwritten) essay, and it's all seamless! (And I hope Shanra doesn't mind the semi-HTML plagiarism ;)
Saturday afternoon I got three Hope's Passage small expansions inserted with very little trouble (for me). Pondering about them for weeks and months in advance likely helped, regardless, I'm glad to have them done. Just need to pound on troublesome chapter 7 for a bit before I can remove the book from my editing list for a while!
And late Saturday afternoon/evening I made myself a 'sunset' avatar with far less trouble than might be had. So nice to have a project that doesn't balloon and take three times more trouble and effort than anticipated!
(Note: Sorry, no links to my avarii essay starting-point, as that is hosted on my Triune books community, which is currently under very messy construction and quite closed. ;) Only those that become members later on will have access to the avarii essay (unlike the hyarmi one) Whenever I write it, that is!)
It sure is! =)
Ugh, it's such a mess over there, but I am in the right kind of mood for tinkering...just need to get cash so I can work on my aviir illustrations for the mainpage, too. *is not enjoying 4 weeks on 1 paycheck*
