Another pleasant day...

I'm fond of the number 111, even though it isn't a prime. So for fiction reread 111 I chose A Swiftly Tilting Planet, my very favorite of Madeline L'Engle's books. So delicious, and nearly as powerful and compelling to my imagination as when I first read it around the age of 13.

Finished my avarii essay illustrations, whee! Now I just have to finish editing and get that last section up...

And there was the great fun of getting to cross Hened's story off my 'What's cooking...' list. I think I'll leave it up there crossed off for a while, just to savor my accomplishment. Then I'll have a new tale to add...

Last but certainly not least, it's been pleasant to savor some writing from folks who don't update nearly often enough, in my opinion: Anna Mortensen, Beth Fitzgerald, and Sarah Kinder. Wonderful to savor new writings by them all in the space of a week! (And more to come soon, I hope). And now I just got an e-mail that Ruatha's got more up on FictionPress. I know what I'm doing on my lunch!
