Treats for today:
Department Christmas party at work, which was a complete blast. Wonderful food, too!
Beautiful sunset while coming home from work. The neatest touch was a crescent moon blurred by thin clouds--but it looked as if it had been roughly sketched in and then not finished.
The delicious smell of pine as I stepped into my apartment.
And I finished 'Tongue-tied,' though I have some editing to do. Yay--now I have a Christmas gift for the ARG!
I'm getting better with crescent moons. There was a number of years where it was too easy for me to see a blind smile (or frown) and get unnerved. But I'm getting to love them when they're the slenderest of sickles.

It was a lot of fun--I'll have to tell you what I got for my White Elephant gift.
The tree is smelling wonderful--and drinking well too. (Which reminds me I haven't checked it yet this morning.) I was too busy last night writing and shopping, so hopefully I can put lights on tonight.
