Today I'm grateful that...

I did a pretty good job with my insane 'to do' list this weekend, even if there was no time for my Netflix movie.

I got the tree all decorated, and can now savor it for the rest of the month. Nothing like lying in bed with Christmas music on and the Christmas tree shining.

I made great editing progress with 'Tongue-tied.' It pulled together as I was hoping.

The joy of savoring one of my favorite trilogies, and trying to read more slowly, so as to wallow in its wonder.

A friend signed up for LJ and has started making his way through my Portal Page stories. Talk about the best of Christmas gifts!

So glad you are enjoying your tree. Which trilogy are you reading?

Good to hear on your progress with editing.

Who sign up for LJ? Anyone I know. SD

I'm rereading Patricia McKillip's Riddle-Master trilogy. I think I read it to you after I graduated college.

Well, it's been three years since he was last around, so I don't think you'll remember him.

Now that winter break has officially begun (as of 3 hours ago), I am looking forward to wading through your Portal Page!

(and I can't believe I've never checked it out before--or at least not in recent memory. I'd put it off until I had time to actually read, thinking it was just a regular list of stories like the rest of us have. I should have known you would do something amazingly adorable and assail all your amigas with an assortment of amazingly adorable animations!!!! :D :D :D [/assonance]

Have a great evening!

Ooh--congrats on winter break! Enjoy! =)

Well, say 'amazingly adorable artistry' if you want to keep your admirable assonance accurate. ;) Glad you like it!
