This morning, I'm grateful for:
The fact my mom's quick eye surgery (that's called a laser capsulotomy) went smoothly, though it will be a couple days before she can be certain it worked.
I was quite slow, but I have finally read everything linked at Becca's 'Magical Mystery Masterlist'. That currently is five books and one fragment, but I believe I've read another two books whose links were removed--so seven total. I needs to make meself a ribbon! ;D
Finally hit the 5,000 word mark in my slow plugging along with my novella 'Nothing Gold.' Up to the first of the 'big scenes' now!
And whoo-hoo for my current Poser hyarmi project actually going more quickly and smoothly than I anticipated! I love it when that happens!
I'm thinking 30,000 words or higher. It's going to need a lot of revising and editing, since I'm getting stuff down, but there's hardly any description, and I'm breaking pov rules left and right. Definitely a learning experience, and I think when I write the novella 'The Great Wave,' I'm going to try coming from a different angle.
Indeed! If it all goes smoothly, I should be able to get three more essay illustrations done by the end of the weekend. =)

Yay, for you Mom's eye surgery. I hope it all stayed well.
Thank you! And you weren't slow, my dear. I am so very grateful that you even wanted to read any of them, let alone the whole lot. Thank you, I appreciate your persistence, and fabulous feedback. I will be replying soon. Had a bit of an odd end to last week, which kind of diverted me from the 'net.
Excellent news on progress in both quarters! Well done ^_^
I keep meaning to ask and forgetting. Thanks for the memory prod! ;)
I'm emulating the turtle of late with a lot of things...just keep at it, it will get done eventually. ;) Have fun replying to all that blathering!
Thanks! I now have minor addiction issue with my hyarmi cub figure and am looking for excuses to play with it. ;D
