I'm grateful, that despite having a stomach-ache/diarrhea most of the afternoon/evening and somehow busting my CD-ROM/DVD drive on my computer, I still did a good job of trying to make the best of the day Saturday.
I got the pronunciation guide all finished, unlocked and linked from main LJ bio page and sidebar, yay! That feels really good, and it will be great to dip back into it at times and either refine things or find inspiration for new names. So handy!
Made extra progress on book 1 verbal edits as I was feeling too ghastly to tackle 'Nothing Gold.' Three chapters left, whee!
Had fun digging up and listening to a bunch of the songs that remind me of my characters, even if a few of them leave me with wet eyes and a big lump in the throat.
Best of all was a prolonged trip down memory lane, digging up and scanning the oldest of my t'DoL pictures for my 'big day' post, that's now viewable to those who commented on the leading-up post last weekend. I'm very glad this 15th anniversary celebration gave me the impetus to find, look through, and scan these old pictures, as they're certainly not going to get in any better shape as I head for the 20-year mark. It was horrible how much my original story-collection covers had disintegrated, so I'm grateful I got scans of them before they're completely wrecked.
Hurrah for my 15th anniversary day!
