A pretty nice weekend...
I got my commissioned t'DoL oil painting in the mail on Saturday! Yes, I'd been expecting it to arrive while I was in Florida, but I brainlessly forgot about oil paints and drying times. Now I just have to find somewhere to prop it up in my infernal mess of a post-flooded room until it's thoroughly dry before framing.
Finished my last of four in-story 'Nothing Gold' illustrations today. That feels good!
And good timing on that, as I finally made some writing progress today as well--got myself moving again with 'Allegiance,' which I hadn't worked on since early December. Writing that's going to be like pulling teeth...but it's so good to be moving ahead!
There's parts I like and parts I don't like; I want to prop it up somewhere so I can see it, but my room's too much of a mess right now.
Yep, I'm planning to! Just lagging behind with that as I am with announcing the essay and Florida stuff.
That would be nice. =) At least it's a very short story, not a long one.
The photos are up! It's at the beginning of my part 1 Florida ramblage I did last evening--since you're on the filter for the anniversary stuff, you should be able to view it, at your convenience, of course!
